Thank You and Thanksgiving

November 22, 2019
By Dr. Troy P. Roddy
Greetings Titan family!
I am writing this message after witnessing a fantastic display of Titan energy at our 2019 Grandparents and Special Friends Day. We are blessed to have so many friends and families who love and support our students. Thank you! We hope you enjoyed the various activities, refreshments, plays, and the Book Fair.
As a reminder, the offices will be closed until December 2. There will not be a message next Friday or Office Hours LIVE! next Thursday.
In the meantime, please take note of the following items.
28th Annual Christmas Parade of Lights in Humble
HTES will participate in the parade on December 3. We would love to know how many families can help decorate our “float” and ride along in the parade. Students who ride along should wear Titan gear, and will earn House points for participating. For more information, please contact the Titan Parent Association at
Breakfast with Santa and Mrs. Claus
The Titan Parent Association is excited to announce that we are hosting a Breakfast with Santa and Mrs. Claus on Friday, December 6 from 8-10AM in the gym/commons space. All HTES students and families are invited to join us. A delicious breakfast will be provided by Chef Cassi’s Table. Santa and Mrs. Claus will be available to take pictures with your family. Students are allowed to wear Christmas/Holiday dress that day.
There is no charge to participate in Breakfast with Santa and Mrs. Claus. However, we are happy to accept donations to help offset the costs of the event. For more information, please contact the TPA at
New Hoodies Available!
New HTES hoodies are available to order for a limited time. Please use this link to get yours. We need to reach a minimum order to make sure the items go to print. Thank you for your consideration. This campaign ends on November 27.
Name the Titans
The Titans have names! Be on the lookout for our announcement introducing our Titan heroes to the community!
Thank you for your continued support of our school.
Have a Happy Thanksgiving!
It’s a great time to be a Titan,
