Busy Days Before Easter

April 05, 2019
By Dr. Troy P. Roddy
Greetings Titan family!
The days leading to Easter Break include a number of events around campus.
April 8-17: Stanford Testing
Teachers of grades 3-8 will be coordinating their grade level Stanford testing between April 8 and 17. These are flexible dates to allow individual teachers to schedule the testing as it fits best into their schedules. You should hear from your child’s teacher about his/her testing dates.
We use these tests as an objective measure of our curriculum over time, as well as, a data point to evaluate individual student growth. In order to help your child do his/her best, please make sure they get a good night’s sleep, eat breakfast, and arrive on time to school. Once tests have started, we cannot stop to accommodate a late arrival.
April 12: Clash of the Titans!
Friday, April 12 is Clash of the Titans, our annual field day. Please make note of the following from Coach Bowden:
  • Please wear your house shirt with athletic attire
  • Pack an extra set of clothes in case you get wet, etc.
  • Concessions will be sold at the concession stand, so bring some money if you want to purchase items.
  • Early Childhood (3K, 4K, and Kindergarten) will be from 9-noon.
  • Lunch will be from noon-1pm.
