Washington, Staff Update, and Pizza

By Dr. Troy P. Roddy

Greetings Titan family!

Next week, we have a group of middle school students travelling to Washington DC. As someone who lived in that area for a few years, I can say that they will get to experience a remarkable trip and learning experience. Please join me in wishing them safe travels. I cannot wait to hear about the trip when they return.

I also want to make an exciting announcement regarding next year. Part of our growth plan is structuring the school in a way to better support the numerous operational aspects of our program. As such, I am happy to announce that Mr. Waller, current middle and upper school English teacher, has agreed to stay at HTES in the role of Assistant Head of School. Mr. Waller’s extensive experience as an administrator in private independent Episcopal schools is a great asset to our community. His role will primarily focus on student activities, plant operations and maintenance, and faculty/staff support. In addition, he will be a vital part of the long-term planning for the school as well as leading various teams and committees.

Finally, the Titan Parent Association (TPA) is coordinating pizza days on Friday starting April 5. You should have received a message about that yesterday, and we are available to answer your questions. If you need more information, please contact the TPA at Order forms for the April 5 day are due April 2.

As always, thank you very much for your continued support of Holy Trinity Episcopal School.

It’s great to be a Titan,
