Titanium: The Head of School's Blog
March 08, 2019
Greetings Titan family!
Who else is ready for Spring Break?! The third quarter is often the most difficult due to dreary winter weather and being bookended by Christmas and Spring Break. That can feel daunting! However, with the start of the 4th quarter, students and families feel the excitement of the coming summer which tends to make the days seem brighter.
Here are a few items of note as we go into Spring Break:
- Parent conference with teachers is scheduled for Friday, March 22. There are no classes that day. Teachers should be in touch to arrange your conference time. If you need to make special arrangements, please contact your child’s teacher.
- Information about Summer at HTES programs is almost ready. Once we have it completed, we will share it with everyone.
- The Titan Parent Association is looking for volunteers to help with the various projects. Please contact Tiffany Cranford at TPA@hteshouston.org for more information.
- On March 19, the school begins work with a video production company to create some marketing videos. If you are interested in being interviewed/giving a testimonial for possible inclusion, please let me know. Interviews are scheduled for filming on March 19.
Finally, an important safety reminder: if you arrive after 8:00 am and there is no teacher or administrator outside to assist, please park and walk your child into the main building to check-in. Also, please adhere to state guidelines regarding the use of car seats and booster seats for children. We want everyone to arrive safely and are happy to assist you in reminding our students about being safe.
As always, thank you very much for your continued support of Holy Trinity Episcopal School.
It’s great to be a Titan,
