Physical Education (PE) is an important part of our program in every grade. Learning is supported by being physically active and living a healthy lifestyle. Thus, we are committed to PE as a core component to every student’s experience.
Our Physical Education program is designed to develop competence in: physical fitness, fine and gross motor skills, social and character development, and strategies for living a healthy lifestyle. In order to achieve these goals, HTES uses Project Adventure’s Adventure Curriculum for Physical Education for Elementary School’s. This program, and its outcomes, are well aligned with both National and State Physical Education standards.
