Spiritual Growth

4 Components of spiritual growth
At Holy Trinity, we will be implementing these components throughout our daily lessons as well as in our twice weekly chapel services:
  • Bible Knowledge
  • Scripture Memorization
  • Core Values
  • The Leader in Me by Stephen R. Covey
Bible Knowledge

HTES employs the SAES Bible Curriculum Series to give students a foundation in the Word.  The SAES Curriculum spans three years and surveys Old Testament, New Testament, and the Episcopal Faith. This resource is used in our classroom chapels, weekly all school chapels, and Titan chapels.

Scripture Memorization

Hiding God’s Word in our hearts is a primary component of the HTES Spiritual Growth initiative.  Students throughout the school spend each week contemplating the a single verse or passage.  Discussion and activities center on each verse in classroom chapels weekly all school chapels and Titan chapels.

Core Values

HTES has identified nine character traits that will serve as a common learning theme for this school year within our #Grow campaign.  These core values will guide our students as they grow academically, spiritually, and socially.  They are: Responsibility, Courage, Strength, Compassion, Respect, Truth, Excellence, Faithfulness, Integrity.

The Leader in Me by Stephen R. Covey

Developing healthy habits is a key part of spiritual learning.  These habits will help mold our Holy Trinity students into leaders. These 7 Habits are defined in language children can easily understand.

"For there is hope for a tree, when it is cut down that it will sprout again and its shoots will not fail. Though its roots grow old in the ground, and its stump dies in the dry soil, at the scent of water it will flourish and put forth sprigs like a plant.” Job 14 : 7-9
